Sandra from Scarborough in Queensland was struggling with some intense challenges. Caring for her elderly parents and dealing with the uncertainties of covid left her feeling lost and overwhelmed. But it was during one of her hardest moments, that she came across Vision. ‘My mother had dementia and my dad had a stroke and we had to move them into care at age 86 and 87. It was just a very stressful time.’
Sandra shared how she discovered Vision by chance one night when she was looking for something relaxing to listen to. ‘I stumbled on Vision and was just lying there thinking, what is this?’ Since then, it has become a constant in her life. ‘It’s the greatest gift,’ she says. ‘Vision has grounded me when everything else was falling apart.’
Sandra shares that discovering Vision has deepened her understanding of the Trinity and strengthened her faith. ‘Vision has grown that, and it’s grown me much further into God,’ she says. She also emphasised the eternal impact of supporting Vision. ‘If you want to spend your money, you will not get more value. It’s a priceless gift we get back for any dollar we give.’
Sandra’s quiet moments with Vision became a sanctuary, helping her navigate a chaotic world. ‘By joining Visionathon, you’re not just donating; you’re advancing the Gospel together and making a difference in countless lives.’
