Valerie from Warwick called in on the last day of Visionathon to share how much Vision means to her.
Valerie’s Visionathon story is one of comfort and gratitude. “It’s company for me,” she said. “My husband and I listen to it together. We’re blessed through everything we hear, and the music is just wonderful.”
A Faithful Listener
Valerie has been listening to Vision for four years. After moving to Warwick, she found the station on the radio and hasn’t changed the dial since. “When I go anywhere else and can’t pick it up, I don’t know what to do,” she said. “I just leave it, and when we come back into range, I turn the radio back on.”
Valerie has also discovered the Vision app. “Every morning I go for a walk and play the radio on my phone. It’s wonderful.” While she’s still figuring out the Bluetooth in her car, her love for Vision has made her a faithful daily listener.
Valerie’s message to fellow supporters is grounded in Scripture. “When we’re anxious, God says to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. He really does. He’s given us this radio station to listen to. Please think about donating. Any little thing—or big—it’s all appreciated.”
Valerie’s Visionathon story is just one example of the impact Vision is having across the country. Her encouragement and generosity are part of what keeps Vision going and growing.
