We’re excited to announce that Vision’s radio station in Wonthaggi, Victoria, went to air on 24th March, 2025.
Wonthaggi is a vibrant coastal town with a population of around 5,000 (ABS 2021), located in the beautiful Bass Coast region. Once a thriving coal mining hub, it’s now known for its relaxed lifestyle, historic sites, and nearby beaches. From exploring the State Coal Mine to enjoying the scenic rail trail or heading to nearby Inverloch, there’s something here for everyone.
And now, Vision Christian Radio is available 24/7, bringing hope-filled music, Biblical teaching, and encouragement to locals and visitors alike.

The cost of establishing a new transmission site depends on the output power and unique site requirements.
Low power licences (ideal in a small country town, for example) typically cost less than $10,000 to establish. This includes the satellite receiving and FM retransmission equipment. The cost of the licence itself, basic local marketing, and program supply via satellite for the first year.
High-power licences and transmission sites are more expensive (but they do have much greater reach).
A big thank you to our wonderful supporters who made this possible. We pray that every person who tunes in will be blessed and drawn closer to God.
