About
South Australia joined the Vision family in 2001, with the first relay station opening in Port Augusta in September of that year. Some of our transmitters are in those remote areas — like Roxby Downs, a town built from nothing in 1987 to service a local mine and processing plant where temperatures can range each year between -6 and 48 degrees. It’s in places like this that listeners tell us Vision forms a lifeline for them to the rest of the body of Christ. Other stations are located in tourist areas such the Eyre Peninsula, or in farming towns like Keith and Renmark.
