‘The eyes of all look expectantly to You…’ Psalm 145:15 NKJV

When God introduced Himself to Abraham He went by the name El Shaddai, which means God Almighty, the all-sufficient, the provider of all. And today God is saying to you, ‘I will be all you need!’ Now you know that God is able, but don’t you sometimes wonder if He’s willing? Simply having a revelation of God’s ability is not enough; you must also believe that He will, in order to put a solid foundation under your faith.

One day a leper came to Jesus saying, ‘If you will, you can heal my disease.’ Jesus revealed His heart by saying, ‘I will.’ (Mark 1:40-42 NKJV) Don’t allow Satan to convince you that God may or may not take care of you. The Bible says, ‘…God shall supply all your need…’ (Philippians 4:19 NKJV) Notice, the Bible doesn’t say, ‘God is power,’ it says, ‘God is love.’ It focuses on His willingness to use His power, rather than the power itself. Because God has a heart of love, He will use His power to meet your needs.

God actually gets great pleasure out of meeting your needs. ‘The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works…The eyes of all look expectantly to You, and You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.’ (Psalm 145:8-9; 15-16 NKJV) God may not answer your prayer in the way you think He should or when you think He should, but if you trust Him He will answer in the way that’s best for you.
