Christians of all denominations are being encouraged to fill in the ‘Religion’ box, or the ‘Other’ box when answering the Census on Tuesday night August 10.

Believers are advised to choose to use their denomination, or even just the word Christian, regardless of whether or not they attend a church.

Christians need to acknowledge their faith when they answer the question relating to their ‘Religion’ as this is to counter an atheist campaign promoting the ‘No Religion’ agenda aimed at weakening the voice of Christians in Australia.

Ruth Powell, director of National Church Life Survey Research, says the government has placed the ‘No Religion’ box as the first choice. This subtlety of placing the No Religion box at the top is designed to make it easier for those unsure about their faith, or what they personally believe, to tick the No Religion box instead of the Religion or Other categories.

It’s as though the word religion has become corrupted to Christians.

“Many Christians today prefer to say they’re spiritual, so they might tick the ‘No Religion’ box (to express that sentiment).”

Or they may choose to not tick any of the boxes.

“I’m a Christian and I don’t want to tick any of these boxes because (my faith) it’s bigger and more important than that. Even the language of saying, ‘What is your religion’ is becoming problematic.”

“What will happen is that you will end up in the No Religion box and people will go ‘Ahaa’ see, church doesn’t matter anymore. People don’t believe in God. See they ticked the No Religion box,” Ms Powell said.

The Atheist are waging a campaign to increase the No Religion numbers in order to pressure governments to push through secular atheistic policies that further undermine conservative Christian values.

“(Ticking the Religion’ box) It’s the only way that you can tell the government that faith is important in your life,” Ms Powell said.

Ironically, it could be argued that atheists actually believe in atheism, so it requires faith not to believe in God, so it’s a religion in its own right and therefore qualifies its adherents to correctly fill in the ‘religion’ box as well.

The ABS advises that Australians who refuse to answer questions in the 2021 census over privacy concerns surrounding the retention of their personal information could face heavy fines.
