An unforgettable Faith Adventure Across America

“Loved travelling in the company of other Christians, being encouraged, accepted and safe.”

Tour Summary

Embark on a Biblical odyssey and faith-filled creation adventure and much more!

Join Vision for a once-in-a-lifetime journey featuring the widely popular Ark Encounter and Creation Museum by Answers in Genesis. Plus other destinations and options like the Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C., the Billy Graham Library, Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry, and discover America’s rich Gospel music heritage along the way.

You’ll be joined and hosted by Vision’s own Greg Newman – the long standing host of Vision Christian Radio’s Afternoon’s show:

Hello I’m Greg Newman. I was born in Melbourne, and I’ve been a committed Christian since I was just a young boy. I’ve been in radio since I was 18, having worked in Ballarat, Melbourne, Hobart, Gold Coast and Brisbane. But here’s a bit of ‘trivia’ … since 1990 my main income comes through providing ‘trivia’ to radio stations! If you hear them mention famous birthdays and ‘on this day’ trivia, there’s a good chance it’s from my publication. For the past 2 years our family has attended a Japanese Christian church, and we will soon make our 4th visit to Japan.

I’ve been involved at Vision Christian Radio for nearly 20 years now and are currently Vision’s drive time host of ‘Afternoons with Greg’. For 10 years I was a church youth leader on the Gold Coast and a local promoter of several Christian music concerts. Did I mention I once won a TV talent show doing ‘stand up’ comedy! Finally, I’m married with 3 children, and I’m blessed to say that my Mum is still alive at 95.

On our trip to America, I will be arranging fun quizzes on the bus rides, and I will reveal two personal secrets that many listeners are not aware of! I’m looking forward to a fabulous trip together filled with fun, faith and the fellowship of a lifetime!

Worship | Niagara Sightseeing & Cruise

We travel north to the historic township of Niagara-on-the-Lake; often described as the prettiest town in Ontario, this wellpreserved 19th-century village sits on the shores of Lake Ontario, at the mouth of the Niagara River.

Share Sunday worship with the locals at St. Mark’s Anglican which was built in 1792 and is the oldest church in the Diocese of Niagara.

Then it is off to see The Living Water Wayside Chapel – built in 1964 by the Niagara Falls Christian Reformed Church, this tiny white building is a Guinness Book of World Records holder as the World’s Smallest Chapel.

Browse the nearby Walker’s Country Market, a family owned and operated orchard that also offers handmade pies, hearty sandwiches, butter tarts and many more sweet and savoury treats. Yum!

Back in Niagara we tour the town before we experience the awesome spectacle that is the Niagara Falls. Watch as onefifth of the world’s freshwater crashes down to the basin below – see over 2,800 cubic metres of water thunder over the brink every second, travelling 65 kilometres per hour! Celebrate God’s mighty creation on our Niagara Falls Cruise as we feel, not only hear, the roar of the falls as we cruise to its base.

Day 4

Monday 6 October 2025

B

D

USA | Syracuse | Albany

This morning, we travel back across the border into the USA and travel towards Albany, both the oldest city in the U.S. state of New York as well as its capital.

On the way we will stop for a break in Syracuse and have some free time to walk around historic Clinton Square to enjoy its beautiful architecture from the 19th & early 20th centuries. Once the city’s original town centre, Clinton Square is now home to a stunning fountain that flows where the Erie Canal once travelled.

In Albany we visit the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, the third oldest catholic Cathedral in USA. The cathedral was built in 1848-1852 to provide both spiritual care and a sense of social inclusion for the local Irish migrant population who had fled the harrowing Potato Famine.

To help these Catholics take their place in the USA it was felt they needed a great cathedral of which they could be proud and in 1976 this neo-gothic building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Ten years later it hosted the first-ever service of forgiveness between Catholics and Jews on Palm Sunday, an event commemorated by a sculpture outside the building.

Boston | King’s Chapel Recital | City Tour

This morning, we travel to historic Boston, for all intents and purposes, the oldest city in United States of America. Upon arriving in Boston, we visit King’s Chapel for a special music recital. Founded in 1686 this was the first Anglican Church in predominantly Puritan Boston, and its establishment helped pave the way for religious freedom in America.

Enjoy some free time to explore downtown Boston’s Quincy Market Colonnade, the first food hall in the United States, and neighbouring Faneuil Hall. Located steps away from the waterfront, Faneuil Hall has been a prominent meeting location for residents and visitors to Boston and a central point of commerce for the city for 280 years. In 1742 Faneuil Hall was proclaimed “The Cradle of Liberty” for its role in the early days of the American Revolution. Today the surrounding cobblestone promenades are filled not with political orators but rather local musicians and world-renowned
street performers.

This afternoon’s guided tour of Boston takes us to some of the city’s most significant landmarks, including the extremely historic Old North Church. Established in 1723 it is the oldest church building and the longest-serving Episcopal congregation in the city and is best known for its connection to Paul Revere’s midnight ride and the American Revolution.
