On this week's political agenda update with Joshua Rowe, ACL State Director for NSW and the ACT: Recently, a Christian school teacher was dismissed for being in a same-sex relationship, raising concerns about the rights of faith-based schools to uphold their values.
Joshua also discussed the Equality Bill, which aims to embed LGBTQ+ ideology into NSW law, during a Committee Hearing on 30th April. Notably, 85% of NSW respondents opposed the bill, which includes provisions for sex self-ID and medical consent for minors against parental wishes.
Sydney Anglicans highlight the lack of political awareness about the bill's consequences. Additionally, Joshua is hosting events featuring Chloe Cole, an American de-transitioner, to advocate against gender-affirming.
