For Margaret and her family, enduring separation during Covid has been particularly tough, with her husband unable to get home from Papua New Guinea for over 15 months. But through listening to Vision, God has helped them to remember that He has a bigger plan.
Margaret and her children Belinda and Bradley, say they donate to Vision because they want to give others the opportunity to listen to Christian radio. “Especially because when we have a bad day and we’re in the car listening to Vision, God reminds us that He has a bigger plan for our family.”
While Margaret is thankful for the technology that allows her and the kids to keep that connection, it’s not the same as a big hug. It’s a challenge to essentially be single mum and keep encouraging the kids, and herself, to keep their hopes up.
“It’s been hard. In spite of everything, the ups and downs, we’ve got a loving network of family and friends who have supported us. That is what’s kept us going.”
Margaret says “We are humbled, blessed and grateful to have loved ones support us in our difficult time with the shortage of housing in Cairns. We count our blessings daily and feel grateful in Jesus’ name.
Thank you, Vision Family.”
The Vision family stretches far and wide and when a family member is in need, we all unite in prayer together.
