Jenna and her husband from Moranbah love listening to Vision Radio, and have a heart to see the opportunity for digital radio broadcasting in Brisbane expanded. They would love to see more Christian content available for their family and friends.
‘My husband and I really enjoy Vision,’ says Jenna. ‘It’s just another way to grow the Christian community.’
Jenna believes that if God puts it on our hearts to do something, we need to do it as soon as possible. ‘Blessing comes from obedience,’ she says. ‘And obedience brings joy.’
Jenna and her husband have a giving account and were considering to whom God would have them give. After reading a devotional by Charles Spurgeon on giving, they made it a priority to disperse the funds as soon as possible.
‘Everyone’s feeling the pinch at the moment with increased prices and mortgage rates,’ says Jenna. ‘So it doesn’t seem to make sense to give. But often God is a bit of an upside-down God and provider.’
Making a decision to donate in the midst of challenging circumstances is actually investing a seed into good soil that’s going to produce a harvest of righteousness in people’s lives. Not only are you sowing for people in Brisbane, but for people all around the country.
Jenna believes it’s so important for the next generation to know the truth of God. ‘Thank you very much Vision, for the truth you proclaim.’
