The Kiangali family relocated from Papua New Guinea to Cairns in Queensland 15 years ago and are hard core Vision fans. Benson and Margaret listen to Vision every day and love the music and The Word For Today. Their children, Belenda-Hope, age 14 and nine-year-old Bradly love to sing along, especially during the Kids’ Stuff program.

Belenda-Hope and Bradly are one of a number of kids who generously donated their pocket money during Visionathon. They said Vision has a positive impact on their family during both the good and the tough times. As monthly givers, they aim to inspire other families to join the Vision family to help spread the Word of Jesus across the country.

When asked why she donated to Visionathon, this is what Belenda-Hope said:

I’ve had this opportunity to listen to this radio for a very long time, and I just love to give the opportunity to all the kids who would also want to listen to it.’

Hard Core Kids’ Stuff Fans

Dan Collins, host of Kids’ Stuff, said a special hello to Belenda-Hope and Bradly on air, during Visionathon and when they were asked what they loved about Kids’ Stuff, they said EVERYTHING! They said there were too many songs they loved to pick a favourite and they loved all the artists like Colin Buchanan and the Watoto Children’s Choir and watching all the episodes of Adventures in Odyssey, Veggie Tales and Superbook.

‘As a child, I’ve always grown up listening to Kids Stuff,’ said Belinda. ‘Me and my mum would be driving and I’d be listening to it and get so excited. And so does Bradley.’

NEWS FLASH! Vision Kids will launch on 1 July!

Vision Christian Media will be launching a new Vision Kids program that will be available 24/7 on the Vision app for all our hard core, faithful Vision kids out there.

We’ve put together a dedicated program of Christian music, Adventures in Odyssey, and words of encouragement from Dan Collins on Kids Stuff, to keep the kids happy 24/7 and nourished with Godly content.

While the world wants to fill young minds with darkness and confuse them with lies, Vision Kids will fill their minds with the Word of God and encourage them to defend their faith. It’s important for children to understand why they believe. Giving them a strong Biblical foundation when they are young will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

‘Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.’ Proverbs 22:6 ESV

You won’t have to wait for the Kids Stuff program to come on the radio anymore, you’ll be able to switch to Vision Kids any time of the day, no matter which time zone you live in, and get the Word of God into those young hearts. Road trips will be a breeze! Now you’ll be able to get dinner ready on time while the kids are soaking up God’s Word.

Vision is so grateful for these beautiful young souls and wants them to know how valued they are as they defend their faith now and into the future.
