Sterges Jeremiah and his wife are missionaries running a small, mostly indigenous church in remote Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory that is blessed to have a Vision Radio station.

After arriving from Papua New Guinea in October 2022, Sterges admits the culture shock has been a bit tough for the family. The church in Tennant Creek has a mix of indigenous cultures, including Africans, Filipinos, and Fijians.

‘I find Vision is very helpful because it’s very isolated, and sometimes we feel lonely. But Vision Christian Radio really helps because of the songs you play, and the messages are very encouraging,’ said Sterges.

Sterges is very grateful for the resources Vision provides him. The Word For Today has been a very valuable resource that is made available to church members.

Because of people like you who donate, Vision is able to provide these resources free of charge and install radio stations in remote communities such as Tennant Creek.

Visionathon happens just twice a year, with donations covering 90% of Vision’s annual costs. The donations that come through are from everyday people like you who know the power of sharing the good news of God across Australia. We hope the Holy Spirit stirs you to support us by making your tax-deductible donation right now, or even going the extra mile by becoming a monthly giver.

You can respond now on the phone at 1800 316 316, at vision.org.au or in the free Vision Christian Media app. You’ll be helping people look to God daily as we believe and work together.
