In the remote town of Andamooka, Stephen and his wife run a radio show on the local community station. Vision has become their lifeline for Christian content, especially music. Steve says without Vision, they would feel lost. They enjoy shows like Foundations, Focus on the Family, and Sunday Mornings Together.

Stephen says he loves to support Vision’s work of spreading the gospel to the four corners of the country. ‘The Sunday morning program is especially good for people who can’t get to a regular church,’ he says. ‘They can come together online with their Vision family.’

With the way things are in our world at the moment, Stephen believes that getting the word of God out to people is more important than ever. ‘The gospel is badly needed in Australia.’

Stephen says that every time his church has a service, they pray for the Holy Spirit to actually move in people’s lives. ‘We pray for them to commit to Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour. And we actually feel that working and more people are starting to talk about it. So that’s a good thing.’

Stephen enjoys receiving his weekly emails from Vision, and he believes Visionathon is a worthy cause to support. ‘It’d be great to see Brisbane get digital radio up and going as well.’

Wouldn’t you love to hear more encouraging stories like Stephen’s? We love hearing how people’s lives are being impacted for the better by Vision Radio. This is the seed you are sowing your money into!
