State Representative - Sydney
The Opportunity
- Location: Sydney.
- Work type: Part-time, 12 months fixed-term position.
- Profession: Non-profit media ministry services.
- Salary type: Annual package.
This is a strategically important diplomatic role working in close consultation with Vision’s Marketing and Partnership teams on a part-time basis, to prayerfully seek out and nurture new followers and supporters, actively networking and presenting to groups to build awareness and engagement within our target markets, identify relationship-based funding or sponsorship opportunities, and to develop, motivate and nurture other volunteer ambassadors.

The Role

The ideal applicant will have:
- Professional qualifications and training.
- Experience in ministry development and working with non-profits.
- Proficient in planning events and managing promotions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Confident, outgoing, and a strong negotiator.
- Track record working with supporters and growing good client relations.
- Experience in relationship management, building trust, loyalty, and support.
- Highly self-motivated, punctual, disciplined, and well-organised.
- Computer literate and competent with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to investigate and recommend ideas where appropriate.
- Good sense of time management and the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Self-aware and comfortable with the pursuit of excellence.
- Mature and balanced theology with strong discernment and judgment.
- Willing to work part-time with flexibility for occasional travel and weekend events.
- Current driver’s license and car, and able to travel by air as required.

Radio Broadcast Technician/Electrician
We seek an enthusiastic, creative, experienced Technician/ Electrician to join our Team.
You will join Australia’s largest national Christian media ministry. The successful applicant will need strong organisational alignment, integrity, and passion for using their technical acumen to reach people and explore Australia. - Profession: Radio Broadcasting, Engineering, Electrical, Technician.

Role skills and requirements
Our desired candidate will be able to satisfy most of the following:
- Ability to work full-time with flexibility and a love for travel.
- Electrical trade qualifications or tertiary qualifications in electronics.
- Knowledge of spectrum analysers, waveform monitors and related tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- High and lower power FM and AM transmitter and transmission systems experience.
- Practical experience and proficiency in electronic repairs to component level in RF transmission plant, audio and other related radio broadcast systems.
- Familiarity with and experience in satellite technology.
- Project management experience.
- Good communication skills and unquestionable attention to technical details.
- A drive for quality workmanship with a strong focus on safety and compliance whilst maintaining a solid teamwork ethos.
- Strong understanding and compliance with WH&S requirements and expectations and ability to obtain a Blue Card.
- Technical and WH&S tickets, such as Working at Heights, Testing and Tagging and First Aid Certification.
